If you don't mind slightly used accessories then second-hand shopping is the way to go (and my absolute favorite). Check your phonebook or the web for a vintage shop near you and keep your eye open for yard sale signs. You're bound to find something cool for an even cooler price. Remember, one woman's trash is another woman's treasure.

OK Butterfly I have uploaded the Asian Jingle to the Lucky Luciano website for you. Artist - Polyphonic ringtone Title - Asian Jingle.

I just discovered that you only need to use the audio editors to cut and paste the ringtone to sound how you like it. Then using Phillips mobile phone tools you simply open the file (.wav or .mp3) and save it as an .adp file.

The audio editing program my friend was telling me about is called Audacity. I haven't got into using it much yet, but I'll leave a link for anyone that is interested.

i have had mine only 1 month..What are PIN messages?
PIN messages are messages that are sent from one Blackberry to another Blackberry without going through the email system. (Similar to Instant Messaging directly from bb to bb regardless of carriers. I m new too so don't feel too bad just keep exploring. LOL

What exactly is the PIN messaging feature that Blackberry's have? Is there anything special about it? Forgive me if I seem uneducated, but this is my first blackberry.

By the way, I've had my phone since November and still can't stay away from exploring its features and new applications. Now I know why they call them Crackberry's and I'm hooked.

Thanks for the votes of confidence on my work, vidguy and butterfly. I have a friend looking into other audio editors for me because right now i'm using a trial version of cool edit pro and it's about to expire. I put a couple other rigntones up there too.

SOAD (system of a down) - Cigaro
Scarface (the rap artist) - Money and the Power
Tupac - Never had a friend like me

They are all listed by the artist so check them out and let me know what you think. If any of you can get sound clips from south park I would like to make a few ring tones with those too. The new software is suppose to be able to record sound bytes, but I have to make sure it can be saved in the proper format to make a ringtone. Later.

i changed the subject so it may clear up the confusion surrounding the 7100i and ADPCM ringtones... it does not support ADPCM ringtones, but it does support WAV files. with that said, no one has figured out how to load them, either via the Browser or MMS, to the handheld. it appears that, although the Media Player supports the audio/x-wav MIME format, the browser and MMS translators do not, thus making it impossible to load a WAV file onto the handheld, for now.

Well I hope someone will work on this issue for the 7100i or people will just have to hope that the upgraded OS will do the trick.
