    NOKIA E6

    Two new Symbian handsets, which have previously been leaked and seen, have been officially announced in London. They are the Nokia X7 and the Nokia E6, both of which come with Symbian Anna, the latest version of Symbian.

    Symbian Anna brings improvements such as a faster browser, more enhanced text input along with portrait QWERTY keyboard, icons that have been redesigned as well as a newer version of the Ovi Maps.

    The first handset shown above is the Nokia X7, which is Nokia's "first 4 inch entertainment smartphone." It has the following features below:

    *Capacitive AMOLED display with 640 x 360
    *Gorilla Glass
    * GSM/EDGE 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
    * WCDMA 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100
    * Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
    * A-GPS
    * 3.5mm headset jack
    * 8MP full focus (EDOF) camera
    * 720p video recording
    * On-demand Web TV
    * 8GB MicroSD card included
    * Two games (Galaxy on Fire HD and Asphalt 5 HD) preinstalled
    * 1200 mAh battery
    * 119.7 x 62.8 x 11.9 mm
    * 146 grams

    Two color choices will be available for the Nokia X7; dark steel and silver steel and will be priced at €380 ($548). Launch date should be later on this quarter.

    The second handset is the Nokia E6, that is said to replace the E71 and the E72 models and is considered to be a "business-centric smartphone."

    Features include: a full QWERTY keyboard, 2.46 inch Gorilla Glass capacitive touchscreen (640 by 480 pixels), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, A-GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, 8MP camera, 720p video recording, 8GB of internal memory, and a 1500 mAh battery.

    Launch date is expected to be later this quarter, just like the Nokia X7 and will be priced at €340.
