    Go to Manage Connections - check the check box next to "Mobile Network". You may also have "Turn all connections off" set in which case you would just set it to on.

    how would i fix it if that is the problem i have no manuall for it it has been lost but i also need to wait for my new charger to arrive is well to charge it

    You'll have to be more specific - what phone and service provider do you have?

    It sounds like you turned your cell antenna off though - I did that once with my old blackberry.
