    Two Samsung devices will receive the Gingerbread update; the Samsung Galaxy Mini and the Samsung Gio. If you are an owner of either one of these phones and you don't want to have to wait for the update, you can go to Samfirmware and grab the beta firmware from Samsung servers.

    You can visit the source link for the Galaxy Mini’s XXKPF update and/or the Samsung Gio’s XXKPA update. These updates are said to improve the overall performance of both phones and will improve the battery life.
