I will be looking for more better updates so that to reach out the best I can. I will get some more details about different cell phones here.

I think I figured it out... it seemed to good to be true, but I think I got it. Net10 for $25 I get a phone and 750 minutes. The "catch" is I only have 30 days to use it, but for my situation I only need it for 2 weeks... so I'm golden.

    Unless I'm missing something.

I'll just buy it and have it shipped to my first hotel.

Hi. I'm in Canada. I don't have a cell phone, nor do I want one. But I'm going on a business trip in June to Wisconsin, North Carolina, Washington and Georgia and I'll need to coordinate with people there... so obviously it would be very handy to have a cell phone.

On TV and movies, there's always a criminal with an untraceable "burner" phone... is that just on TV? I don't care if its untraceable... I'm just looking for a "temporary" cell phone. Something CHEAP that I can use to make a few calls in various states while I'm there, that I can just toss or give away when I'm done.

The answer is probably obvious to those more familair, but I've never had any interest in cell phones so I really know next to nothing about how it all works, and on top of that even if I did - I'm not at all familiar with what's available in the U.S. So any help/advice/suggestions would be appreicated. Thanks.

    steve
