It is most probably the phone. I had a similar problem with that phone. I had to go outside my house to get half-decent reception.

    Anybody have any idea?

I think it HAS to be the phone since my old phone got full signal in my house...

I tried changing the band frequency in the D900i to the GSM 850/1900 setting and now I can get 2 bars with no problem but it still goes back down to 1 to 0 bars...

I also looked on the coverage map for AT&T and my house is located in the "best" coverage area...

I'm just confused... this is a newer model phone than my old one and its reception is worse o_O

If anyone could help that would be great! I don't use a home phone, so having cell phone signal is definitely something that benefits me!!!

I got a Samsung D900i cell phone as a graduation gift the other day. My parents bought it unlocked from a lady who said she only used it for a few days (which is somewhat obvious because of the phones condition).

I love the phone but for some reason I no longer get service in my house... It's either at "no service" or just one or rarely two bars. I use AT&T and have never had problems with getting service inside of my house until I got this new phone.

I had to make a phone call yesterday but in order for me to make the call I had to switch back to my old phone (Sony Ericsson Z500a) because it gets full service inside of my house.

Does anyone have an idea about what is going on??? I would have thought that a new phone might have better service than a phone from around 2005..
