Bell Mobility in Canada is getting pretty good in adding new Android smartphones to their lineup, especially those that involve running Google's mobile OS. The newest handset that is said to be coming soon to Bell Canada is the Samsung Gio, which will run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread upon launch. The handset is said to launch sometime in August of this year.

The Samsung Galaxy Gio was announced at the same time as the Samsung Galaxy Mini, Galaxy Fit and the Samsung Galaxy Ace back in the month of January. The Samsung Galaxy Gio's price has not been mentioned but the features include: a 3.2-inch 320×480 capacitive touchscreen, an 800 MHz processor, a 3.2 MP autofocus camera with video recording, 158 MB of internal storage space, microSD card support, 7.2 Mbps HSDPA, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 1350 mAh battery.
