All apps -> Open messages -> menue -> settings -> uncheck Received Notification.

I used to have an iphone and I had the option to hide the details from popping up on the main screen - which stopped nosey individuals from looking at my texts. Now I have the Sprint HTC Arrive (the windows phone) and the time show right up on the top of the screen for all to read. Is there any way I can hide/change this feature?
I would prefer to not have the texts scrolling across the top and all of the details
