    For those who own the LG Optimus 3D, there will soon be an update that update Android 2.2 Froyo to Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The thing is, this update will not take place until October and is only for the UK for the time being.

    This update is said to be coming close to the same time that Google will announce their newest version of Android, Ice Cream Sandwich. It seems that the LG Optimus 3D will be behind on their Android updates, but Android 2.3 Gingerbread is better than Froyo or even the older versions.

    The Android 2.3 Gingerbread for the LG Optimus 3D will bring not only new things from Google, but is reportedly bringing some 2D and 3D conversions with it. These conversions will allow you to play games such as Angry Birds in 3D considering that the app has the OpenGL.
