yeah no prob! btw, 1xEV-DO rev.A is an old CDMA data standard. Basically they still use it because it's cheaper. EV-DO Rev.B was the previous CDMA "3G".

Incredibly helpful once again John! Thank you. That's basically what I was curious about in my other post. I've been reading a lot of reviews and it seems that the Triumph has some issues though, and people are saying to wait for an update/fix. Oy vey. I just want to make the switch to a smartphone! Haha.

They are very comparable phones. The Triumph has a physically bigger screen and HDMI port with a little bit less ram (512 vs the mytouch 4g's 768).

However, the big difference is their data. The Triumph has 1xEV-DO rev.A while the myTouch 4g has HSPA. Basically, it's a lot faster!

Hello! I'm trying to figure out which phone and carrier to go with and am very intrigued with both the HTC MyTouch 4G as well as the Motorola Triumph. Both are EXTREMELY comparable, so I can't decide! Have you had either one, or both? Can anyone tell me something that may be able to help me make up my mind?

    Thanks!

P.S. I want to phone for mostly work-related things. Must-haves includes Outlook synch, social networking, gmail access, Pandora (for personal pleasure), a 3.5 mm headphone jack, an HDMI port is preferred (but not necessary), and a good camera/video with a flash.
