A cell phone with big buttons is more ideal for your mom for easy dialing and texting. With this, she can use the device even if she doesn’t wear her glasses. It will be great if you can get your mom a senior cell phone like the Just5 phone as its features are really designed to address her needs. Specifically, the phone also has a high speaker volume for amplified sound and an emergency response system that is reliable in times of crisis. The phone is very easy to use for someone at her age, too.

I don't know where you are located or where you mother is located, but here in the States Samsung sells a phone for seniors called the Jitterbug J. It has a larger display and bigger buttons that your mom can use. Its phone ring is also more like an old land line phone, or so I've read.

    Good luck in your search,

I got my mom a cell phone about 2 years ago to bring her up to the technology world and finally have a cell phone. I didnt realize when I got her the phone that the numbers are really hard to see and the key pad is really small for her.
