i think that's usless,u have bought a locked cell phone, maybe u can contact your local carrier, and ask them to help u unlock your cell phone. that is the only way.hope can help u

If you have forgotten your password you will need to complete a factory data reset:
Factory reset will permanently delete all your data and customized settings, and will remove any applications you've downloaded and installed. SD and SIM card data will not be deleted.

Wait for the screen with the 3 Android images to appear, and then release the buttons.

Press Volume Down to select FACTORY RESET, and then press the Power button.

PLEASE SOMEBODY!!!! HELP ME PLEASE!!!!... I recently bought a second hand t-mobile HTC mytouch 3G slide, and I put my new t-mobile sim in it, turned it back on and now the phone is asking me to draw the unlock pattern...which I've never created, my sim is completely brand new... so anyways i asked the previous owner and they said they don't remember their pattern with the old sim....so now I cant access ANYTHING on my phone except the emergency call option, but yet my boyfriend or anybody can my phone and i can talk to them but if i try to do anything during the call the pattern screen comes back on and also can't end either. Who ever calls me has to hang up or my phone will stay on with them for 'ever'... HELP me PLEASE!!!
