You can get plenty of great phones man, just don't focus too much on Dell. They make good quality stuff, but they're not the only ones to do so...

Dell is all set to launch couple of high end, 3G supported mobile phones by the mid year in India, Dell Aero is one of the upcoming ones, that is said to be the first android phone assembled under the brand Dell and will be supporting 3G network, the phone owns a range of up to the hour features & applications that you would give your heart to it, it will be fitted out with the expect 3.5 inches TFT touch responsive screen that would show off everything in the resolution of around 360x640 pixels and will be supported by accelerometer sensor for UI rotation, multi-touch input method & proximity sensor, moreover it will be supporting the Wi-Fi connectivity that being coupled with the built

Also the Streak is huge and $200 more than the Aero was reportedly going to be. I have no clue what's going on.

I haven't seen the Streak on ATT's website...only on Dell's. I wouldn't be opposed to getting it although its a bit large...still. I just need to renew my current contract, though, and I think Dell's pricing is based on a NEW two year agreement, which sucks. :-(

I honestly don't have any information as to when the Aero will be released for sure but since you did mention that you badly need a new phone and you seem to like Dell, maybe you can check out the new Dell Streak? I saw that it's already available through timtechs. it's a monster phone and the hottest right now with 5 inch display. Also I heard it won't have Eclair but instead it will get the Froyo so you might want to consider it. Cheers!

So I am due for a new phone. I decided I wanted an Android but don't really like the Aria and I've had bad experiences with Samsung. I heard about the new Dell Smartphones coming out....specifically I was interested in the Thunder and planned to wait for it to come out, but my current phone is literally on its last legs and I can't wait much longer, so I turned my attention to the Aero.

It is plenty of phone for me in my opinion and I watched the market closely to follow its release, which was set for August 9th. A lot of site say it is already out, calling it a successful launch, but ATT doesn't have it on its site, about 75% of the time the actual ATT page for the Aero is down for "maitenance", and on Dell's website its still promoting it as "coming soon".

I honestly can't wait much longer. My phone is such a piece of junk. Does anyone know if I can't get this thing soon?
