    In an announcement that surprised no one, Dell Computers took the wrapping off its Android-based Dell Mini 3 smartphone on Friday.

    Dell did not provide a launch date, but the company did say the phone would be available only in Brazil and China to start. That doesn't mean the Mini 3 will never reach American carriers, but don't count on it any time soon.

    At the MWC 2010, another handset that was unveiled, was the Dell Mini 3 Android 3G handset. The Dell Mini 3 Android 3G comes with a 3.5” touch screen with a 360×460 resolution. It has talk time of up to three hours and 400 hours of standby time.

    Features of the Dell Mini 3 Android 3G are: a 3MP camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and email capabilities.

    Pricing and availability has not been mentioned.
