Are you guys talking about the HTC phones? Are there any brands in particular?

I personally think Chinese phones are not good, reason? because lets just say there's 1% of real phones in the China 'market' and the rest of the 99% will be fake, copy's of the original product.
The quality of them is not so good e.g. if a original iPhone has a 5mp camera the fake one might look the same appearance wise but its features or app store will never be the same (it'll have a 1.3 mp camera) lol
music quality, the whole phone quality itself will never be the same & people will pay 10x for it then it actually costs.

Because they are providing quality phones in reasonable price.

I have to say, both good or bad quality products exist in China, like chinese people themselves buy something in China, they also will meet good-quality product and also will meet the bad one. So it's up to you! Some people like brand, and some don't care, they only care the function. I can understand they copy others maybe because it will cost less. Meanwile, i also believe that chinese people desire to create their own brand, but they need time!

They are more cheaper but the quality is what i really care, their quality is not so good for what i have seen in my place.
And they copy from other product thats one reason too why i dont like their phones. They should create their own product and not copy and that time maybe they will create a good one.

why are Chinese phones are loved by so many people?many people may say that they are very cheap,but i think they are not only cheap,but also have good quality.believe it or not,if the quality is not good enough,then why so many people go to buy it?Most people all over the world have a bias to China,because of the history,but now China has developed a lot and improved a lot,everything has changed....if we know about it,then we will make a choice when we buy a phone
