Dragon2Knight, Thank you. It is very very slow but working. Foryunately she only wants about 14 albums on her phone so shouldn't take forever.

    Thanks again.

Thats easier than you think Firstly, make a separate folder for your music files you dont want touched and another folder with the exact same music files you want to convert to mp3's. That way the ones you convert will remain separate from the ones you want to keep untouched. Then go onto a site called "download.com",its from cNet and has a ton of choices for music converters...I use "Free MP3/WMA/OGG Converter",type that in exactly in the search bar. Be careful when downloading it to uncheck all the "extras"that come with it,like toolbars and the like. This will allow you to convert the folder that you want to be made into mp3's an easy task. Hope this helps, and if you have any questions, ask and I will try to help as best I can.

    Hi Guys,

Please forgive me, I am stupid. I bought the misses a Samsung Galaxy Y as her phone was old but she doesn't use it much. I got a memory card and put pics and music on it. The pics show up fine, the music will not play. Tried blue toothing from my Galaxy s and it still won't play. Went back to the shop and asked and they said it was because the galaxy y has to have files as mp3s. How do I turn the music on my laptop that I want to put onto her phone into mp3 files without changing them so I can still use them?

    Thanks in advance.

    Simon
