    I cracked my phone , (still works) I'd like to take advantage of the insurance I purchased and get my new phone. Does Verizon require I set up the new phone to my account and disable my current phone? I was planning on giving the new phone to my wife and downgrading my phone to a flip phone eventually. We have separate plans. Her work covers her plan. She has a blackberry
