    After you do a battery pull does the phone come on? It sounds like an installed app is doing something it's not supposed to.I would back up everything (if you can) and do a factory reset:

    1. Turn off the device.
    2. Press and hold the Home key.
    3. While already holding Home, press and hold the Back key.
    4. While holding both keys, press the Power key and release it. Do not hold it.
    5. Release the keys when you see Androids on skateboards.
    6. If you see a BOOT LOADER option, select it.
    7. Press the Trackball (action) to select YES.
    8. When the device says Send, press the green Send key.
    9. Wait as the device turns off and back on.

    Does anybody know what causes this and what the solution might be? Phone powers up fine then just stays on the boot screen. I try to power the phone back off and it wont from the power button. I have to do a battery pull.
