Yes, that was the reason for submiting a post on this forum. I was really hoping that someone that knew something about MY phone might know which settings might need to be changed

Sorry if my answer sounded lame.
but my jawbone volume is controlled by my HTC EVO 4G while playing music
When I push a volume button, a media volume screen pops up and says playing through Bluetooth
You may need to change some sound settings on the phone when conneded to bluetooth.

yes i did..first thing anyone would try.... the volume control shows that it gets louder and softer as the volume gets louder and softer, except when it is connected via Bluetooth, then it not only doesn't change the volume, it also doesn't have the cute little graphic that shows its changing the volume.. so I'm guessing it is not functional when the Bluetooth is connected

Have you tried the volume keys on the phone?

this question is actually about the Samsung t404g (it wasn't listed in the options)from tracfone. I recently purchased a Bluetooth jawbone hands free headset that does not have its own volume control and found that when listening to music the volume is way to loud does anyone know how to turn down the media player volume on the phone?
