Hi I have an iPhone 4 and since putting iOS 5 on it the battery life has been really bad it drops at a ridiculous rate even when I'm not using it where as it would barely drop any charge when it was in standby. I've tried turning lots of thing off but it makes no difference. I've been looking around and alot of people seem to be reporting this

A good way to fix the issue is to get a mophie juice pack air. It gives you 2X the iphones regular battery life. Hope this reply helped.

I heard a lot of the new iphones are having software gliches related to the battery. One model phone can have a bunch of different model batteries which are not compatible with each other due to the OS recognizing only that specific battery.

Since its release, some users have been complaining about battery life issues with iOS 5. Apple on Wednesday confirmed that it has found some issues.

“A small number of customers have reported lower than expected battery life on iOS 5 devices,” an Apple spokesperson told The Loop. “We have found a few bugs that are affecting battery life and we will release a software update to address those in a few weeks.”

There are plenty of battery life saving tips that have hit the Web over the past couple of weeks. Turning off Location Services, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi are just a few of the tips that have worked for some.

I've had my 4S for about a month now and I'm now having nay battery issues. It's pretty much the same as before, when I had my iphone 4. The only issues that I see is not that I've upgraded to the latest firmware lots of apps crash and the OS is a bit more unstable than before.

i have a 3GS too, and thats pretty standard. It must be because you are using it much more than she is, and running bigger apps. If you just leave it alone, it will go down to only 98 in an hour too.iPhone

Anyone else having issues with their battery life on the iphone 4s? I thought the software update was suppose to fix that problem. Anyway, now I'm think of getting a rechargeable battery case for the phone. Anyone have one? How does it work?
