Hi, Did I ask something unusual? Nobody knows?

    Hi,

I live in a remote area and only IDEN cell phones work here. As I understand it Nextel cell phones use that system. I want a pay as you go setup were I just buy time - no plans. I've heard that "Boost" are new phones which have that(?)

Would I save some money if I got a used phone? If so, what is the best simple basic phone to get used? What is the best place to get it?

After I bought a used phone what else would I have buy to get working? I heard that some phones reported as lost are permanently blocked - how do I make sure I get a viable used phone?

I need a basic, simple, reliable phone that uses IDEN, that's buy as you go...

    Thanks,

    Lee
