    Hi Tareq, sorry to disappoint you; the hd7 and I think all new phones have been built to limit bt connection to associated computers to synchronise. Linking with other new or older phones is no longer possible to prevent circulation of copyrighted media. That's it. No one says anything until you ask. i went back to the shop twice, I didn't believe it first time around.
    I wondered if there was a fix to unlock it but haven't pursued it. Good luck. Bob

    Did anyone get this issue resolved? I can't connect to any device - same as wamdiju above. Have followed instructions as on p 47 of user guide, to no effect.
    Original issue was wanting to add ringtones for which I have no answers as yet..
    Any help out there gratefully received.

    I've got the same problem and ringtones and for some reason i can't work out how to put movies from my pc onto my hd7, apart from actually downloading it from zune. I've got a film on my hdd and would like to copy it and play on my phone. anyone can help?
