I have never had my phone shut off due to sw conflicts. I would check the battery and the contacts

Try removing your battery and cleaning the posts on it and on your phone with a qtip and some rubbing alcohol. An eraser also works. Sometimes those get grubby and can cause shutdowns. If you still can't solve your problem, I suggest you to try a cell phone reset. But you'd better get a backup for the data of your cell phone before doing that. Hope help to you!

I'm not sure what software you have on your phone, but a lot of times this happens because you're having a conflict with software that you added or the current software might be corrupted. Try backing up all of your contacts, pics, emails, etc that are in the phone and reset it to factory and reload your info by syncing it to your computer. That should fix the problem.
