    I had a similar problem, but what I did was going straight to a professional service just a few hours after the unfortunate situation. They managed to fix it somehow, but I am not sure if they replaced something inside or just manage to dry it. Maybe it is to late for your cell phone now.

    Some internal parts may be corroded, fused, or fried.
    After 2-3 weeks of no recovery, I would give up on it.

    Hi
    I got my cell phone wet , so i took it apart as much as i could and put it in rice bowl , after 2-3 weeks I turned it on - it worked but only for an interval of 30-40 secs - you can do anything but than a white screen shows and that's it...
    I left more time , but no change , so i decided to try with the 96% alcohol , left it for couple of days - turn it on - same deal the data is there , everything works but for 30-40 secs than crashes

    Anyone has an idea what ca be done ,or just to let it be...
