From what I've read, you should still be able to make an emergency call. Just make sure you press the END button to make sure you're at the main screen. Even if your phone is locked you should be able to make the call.

I'm quite embarrassed as my phone is a very old model. But here it is (Nokia 6230) as it can help me if ever I meet an accident (I hope not though) and I can dial an emergency number.

Most phones allow you to dial numbers, and they just don't go through unless it is to 911.

Also, on Android phones, there might be an "Emergency Call" option at the bottom of the screen.

I heard from a friend that I can call emergency even if my phone is locked? I forget the procedure on how to do it so I would like to ask it here.
