From what I understand, its not the actual battery that the app manages but rather the background functions and state-when-idle apps that it can turn on or off at will to preserve usage of the battery.

@ tagadajones - Battery saver apps can optimize and lengthen the life of your battery as compared to the manual charging. I am currently looking for the best app. However , like what y’all have stated, regular charging is really the best. An app just optimizes and lengthens. That's basically just its job.

I do not know, I do all by hand. What is the advantage of a program that does that? Of all ways I recharge my phone each night.
