I guess I'll have to download another keyboard. Hopefully one with directional arrows.
The extender worked awesome with my old phone and my gf's too
the extender is operated off the modem/router same info passowrds etc. just shows up as another network
My old phone HTC would Switch-Back and forth to whichever had a stronger signal. The rep at sprint said its a new design to hang onto a network instead of switching to another... for people who live in apartments etc.
Thanks great for those people but what about the other 97% of the population?
I haven't heard anything about Sprint charging a restocking fee, but I could be wrong. Did you purchase the phone from a Sprint store, or an authorized dealer?

That doesn't make any sense to me. If you have it set to connect to different WiFi networks, it should automatically connect to the strongest. I would try to return it again, or call Sprint. I think they should have allowed you to return it, as long as it was within the 14 days.

Welcome to CellPhoneForums.net! It's nice to have you here. If you'd like, you can post an introduction here: New Member Introductions - Cell Phone Forums

I'm not too familiar with WiFi extenders. I would think it would just strengthen the signal, not requiring you to connect to anything different. Did it work fine with your other phone?

You should be able to turn off Swype or download another keyboard from Google Play.

If you're not completely satisfied with the phone, I highly recommend returning it. You want to be happy with the device that you choose, especially if you're going to stay with it for two years.

Ok so a search resulted in waaay too many hits to answer my questions. I just bought this thing from sprint.
Overall not happy with the phone or sprint for that matter. (Coming from ATT and A HTC Inspire) I switched to save $90 a month being on the same plan as the GF. Loved the HTC and ATT both.
First I have a wifi extender cuz my modem wont get signal to my whole house/ porch. However the stupid phone wont switch to to whichever signal is stronger. Is there a way to do so?
Next I hate the fact that there is no directional pad on the keyboard... I mean WTH is up with that? Suggestions?
Last Im not really a fan of the swype to type thing I'm kinda big and oafish so it doesnt work well for me. Can I turn it off?
