    Have you tried this method to root? Because I want to root my one V to jelly bean if possible

    Couldn't get this to work when I tried it, I think it is because I was on hboot 1.18

    This guide comes from XDA developer, thanks to an XDA developer xboarder56 managed to come up with a rooting method which will allow users to install root-only apps like Titanium Backup.

    This is what XDA says about rooting HTC Amaze 4G:

    Hi,
    guys this is a One Click Perm Root tool and its verified working. Even after reboot no more bricks like the old one Crack eyes made. It will root your phone and it will stay rooted after multipule reboots. Enjoy
    Note: Its only perment root if you have a unlocked bootloader if you dont then its just one click temp root but if your unlocked its one click perma root


    Please follow the below mentioned step by step guide in order to root your HTC Amaze 4G running Android 2.3.4

    IMPORTANT:-
    THE PROCEDURE I AM GOING TO WRITE NOW IS ALL AT YOUR OWN RISK. I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE IF IT GETS FAILED!!!!!

    Whats Needed
    1- Download HTC Drivers from here.
    2- Download One Click Permanent Root tool for windows from here and for Mac OS X from here.


    Procedure

    1- Install HTC Drivers on your computer which will let One Click Perm Root to recognize your HTC Amaze 4G properly.

    2- Plug in your HTC Amaze 4G to your computer through USB Cable.

    3- Enable USB Debugging option on your HTC Amaze 4G by going to Settings > Applications > Development.

    4- Extract Zerg_Root_OneClick.zip downloaded in “Whats Needed” to C:\

    5- Click on ZergRushTempRoot.bat

    6- Now your HTC Amaze 4G will be rooted and process will take up to 3 minutes.
