My wife has same phone and she has similar problem too. Called Samsung and they want phone back again to look at again. Meanwhile, called Sprint to try and buy a new phone. They would only sell at full retail, I am not eligible for an upgrade. I am just trying to be a good customer, they have me by shorthairs and won't budge. Where can I get a phone with no contract that will last for a year of so??? Any ideas

    You have a few options...
Try a Sprint repair center: no charge if you have TEP; $35 if not.
Try a refurbished phone; Keep in mind this may still be considered an upgrade.
Go to Sprint > Logon >click on shop > click on phones. Scroll down on the right under condition > click the checkbox next to refurbished.
Ebay should be your last resort.
