Welcome to CellPhoneForums.net! It's nice to have you here.

There are some phones that are scratch resistant, so those don't really need a screen protector, but some prefer one anyway. I don't use screen protectors on my devices. I tried to put one on once and it was a hassle so I haven't tried to use one since.

    Good morning.
Forgive me for the title, there's no way you could confuse me with a kid. Thank you for having me on board.
I was trying to find a good forum about mobile phones and it looks like I found a brilliant one. I live in Waterloo and am retired
I own a couple of Samsung mobiles but I cannot find my model GT-S5230 anywhere on your drop-down list. I know this model is also known as Tocco Lite, Avila, Samsung Star and Samsung Player One but can't find those either.
I was also trying to find out whether you advise placing a protective shield on my touch screen?
Thank you for your help. It appears to be a controversial matter.
    All the best,
    Boyard
