Quick update: Phone still works. Slight lag sometimes when playing scramble with friends. Can handle 3D games though, like Beach Buggy Blitz Camera pretty ****ty quality, often blurry--good for the web with some photoshopping. Battery last around 1 day with pretty heavy app use. Phone gets hot with too much app use. Use it for games, surfing the web, texting, reading news, checking mail. Overall satisfied, just hate the camera.

Have you gotten it yet? It does look like a knock off but maybe you'll get lucky and you'll enjoy it for a while. I'm curious about how things will turn out

Well, had this phone for a day so shall write a quick review. Looks almost like a Galaxy Note. Uses 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, stock android. Navigation is smooth and easy. No problems installing apps/texting/email/web-surfing. I don't have a data plan, so not sure how it will link up to that. Cons, camera could be a bit better--but it is still rather usable. Call volume is a little soft, can't really hear in crowded areas. Can't connect to GPS for some reason--not sure whether it is because of phone issues or I am just a noob. Battery lasts around 24 hours with a 7hour sleep and pretty heavy usage during the day. Pretty happy so far in general. Let's see what happens in a few months. Will post an update if I remember. The exact model is CECT N8000.

They can easily submit fake reviews in order to boost the rating of the phone. It's a very common tactic. But I agree with everyone else that it looks really cheap.

Hm, just found out it is made by CECT, which is one of the largest cell manufacturers in China.

it looks like a cheap Chinese phone - in other words it was probably produced to look like something cool, but it'll probably break in 6 months

Actually just ordered this, so might be a little too late to ask for opinions. Haha..

What is up with this phone, its features and its price? It is unbelievable. Anyone know who manufactures it and why it is so cheap? The story behind the phone?
