The Merge works on CDMA & GSM networks. You are probably getting confused because it originally came on US Cellular and Alltel in the US and didn't have the GSM antenna enabled. As long as it really is unlocked it should be able to work on AT&T. It might be a little tricky getting data to work correctly, but hopefully their instructions for doing so are clear.

Can this be valid for the Merge, since all the info I've read on the Net says this phone "only" works on CDMA in the U.S. and the SIM is for outside the U.S. Can anyone shed some clearer light on this subject for me???
