very weird situation your brother is into. are you sure it's sms and not MMS? maybe there's problem with his GPRS settings. have you checked that or called your network?

hey Guys
My brother has a problem in his cell phone, he has Nokia E51, couple of weeks ago, he is getting a problem in SMS.
Whenever he get any sms from friends or family and if that particular sms includes any smiley/emoticon like, [ :-) ;-)] that particular sms got the question mark on the left side in inbox and now he couldn't open that sms, I have tried to send the same sms after removing smiley and bingo...it worked.

Can anyone tell me the solution for this
