A locating service is probably the best thing, if you're concerned over theft or leaving it on your bumper. Our biggest issue here is the kids 'lose' their cell phones around the house and they leave them on vibrate. Calling it when it's on vibrate doesn't help a lot as they tend to get buried in the couch where they leave them or someplace like that where it's hard to hear the hum of the vibrations.

There are also different locating services based on your provider. Verizon has something called Family Locator (I think) and it will track the phone and give you an exact location.

Go to the play store and search for "where's my droid"

Is there a way to locate your phone if you lose it?

Example: you set it on your bumper and drove away and it fell off within a 10 miles stretch of road. Or someone steals it.

I have a droid and would like to increase my chances of finding it if it gets misplaced.
