They still happen, but far less frequently.

Hopefully the links are helpful to anyone who is experiencing the issue.

For anyone who doesn't want to read through the hundreds of posts in those threads, disabling HSDPA is the only "solution" that minimizes reboots/connection drops. They still happen, but far less frequently.

People have swapped their devices through Amazon return as well as through Nokia care, only to get new/"repaired" units that do the exact same thing within minutes.

Have any of you had issues with the Nokia 808 connection problem? My 808 will drop its data connection periodically, and it won't be able to make/receive calls or texts, nor access the internet. Only a reboot (temporarily) addresses the issues. Also, it will reboot itself periodically (perhaps as a result of the same issue).

There are a few threads on the Nokia forum on this topic (I can't link in my posts yet, otherwise I'd provide a direct link) though I didn't see it mentioned here at all.

People have reported the issue in the U.S., UK, Finland and Japan. Nokia confirmed they think they found the issue and are testing a fix, but disappeared after that.

Anyone on these forums have any similar experiences with their 808 or other Belle device?
