I think a phone with a nice case like an OtterBox would be the better bet. Even though phones advertised as 'rugged' are tougher, some cases are better.

I was reading about the Samsung Galaxy Rugby earlier, which basically sounds like a Samsung Galaxy phone with a "souped up" tough exterior. Do you think phones with rugged exteriors like this one offer any more protection than a regular phone with an OtterBox on it?
