Once your carrier has rolled out a new update, here are a few ways to quickly update your phone:

    Option 1:

Settings -> Software Update -> Use the "Check Now" button to look for the update.

    Option 2:

Settings -> APPs -> Select All -> Google Services Framework -> Clear Data -> Force Stop -> Turn phone off & on.
Once that is finished Settings -> Software Update -> Use the "Check Now" button to look for the update.
You might have to repeat the process a few times.

    Option 3:
Settings -> APPs -> Select All tab -> Google Services Framework -> Clear Data ->Disable -> Turn phone off & on
Settings -> APPs -> Select All tab -> Google Services Framework ->Enable
Settings -> Software Update -> Use the "Check Now" button to look for the update.
