    It's a quad band GSM phone, so as long as it's not locked to Orange you should be able to use it on any GSM carrier in the US - which would be t-mobile, AT&T, or most of the pre-paid carriers. All you would have to do is purchase a new SIM once you get to the US.

    I bought a Samsung E2600 while in England, serviced by Orange, and am wondering if there is any way to reconfigure its settings for use in the US.

    As a cell phone ignoramus, I have no idea whether the settings are adjustable.
