Thank you for the welcome. Thank you for a solution when I was just loitering about.

    November 3 I was 70, 22 days in,

I realize I've lot to learn about Android and mobile phones of all sorts. Fairly knowledgeable about Windows, Linux, mostly Red Hat and Ubuntu, and Apple OS preIntel; yet my ignorance knows no bounds when it comes to mobile phones of Android, iOS, Symbian, and Blackberry, and others.

I will learn more here I'm certain, which explains why I'm here. I did a search for solution to minor question I had and the search engine delivered me here. Question and problem solved.

Here I am empty brain for you to fill with all sorts of the hypothetical, theoretical, and factual.

I'm a pa, son and daughter, a grandpa, 3 grandgals and 1 grandguy. My main transport is bicycle, use manual tools in yard and house (eg pushmower), even grind coffee beans manually; yet I'm not a luddite, have Linux, Windows, and Apple computers, and now a smartphone.

I try to use high and low tech when appropriate. I dont want my lawn mower, refrigeration, and the like high tech online, but I like having a 'desktop computer in my pocket.'

I am the family geek so feel compelled to learn.

    Howdy.
