I think it's amazing that so many people have the iPhone, although there are only just a few models available. With Android, there is so much more of a selection. I would think people wouldn't like having just one phone to choose from, but I guess they're happy with it. I like more of a selection. If you want a small screen, there is an Android for you. If you want a large screen, there is one for you, etc.

I believe they both have pros and cons. But I think that Android is still more promising.

I think that iPhones are classier in some ways, though it's hard to say exactly what I mean by that. Maybe 'more stylish' is a better way to say it. They seem to be more popular amongst my female friends than with guys.

I agree, you can customize Android much more than the iPhone from what I've read.

I have an iPhone and Note II, and I have to say that I love the simplicity of the iPhone. It works great and the apps indeed are a plus. You can find all the best apps, and the iOS apps work better than on Android from my experience. In terms of customization, organization, and the freedom to do a lot of things, I go with the Android. It's honestly more functional, and I like that you can have more storage.

It really depends on what you prefer tbh.
I never really paid much attention to Apple's selection of applications. I don't download a lot of applications, so just about everything I have wanted is available on Android's Play Store.

I have never tried the android, but I really enjoy my iPhone. I've had an iPhone now for about two years, I believe, and it's never disappointed me.

I also think that it depends on what other devices you have. For instance, if you have anything else Apple, then it is just easier to go with the iPhone. I have a Mac, which works very well with the iPhone and any other iDevice, while the iPhone doesn't have as many advantages with a Windows computer.

Overall, I recommend anything made by Apple.

Currently, I just have a basic, prepaid flip phone, but before that, I had an Android and loved it. I know some people swear by the iPhone, but I just don't see where all the hype is coming from. Don't most of iPhone's apps cost money, whereas most of Android's apps are free?

Honestly I am not sure if I am just demanding more from my phones at this point or not, feels like I have done everything "exactly the same" for years now.
I thought my first Android phone was fast until I got my second. Then, I was happy with my second, when I got my third and current Android phone. Now the other two feel extremely slow. I don't know how I dealt with it. So, I don't think we're being more demanding, I think it is just we get used to the performance of a phone, and when we upgrade we notice the difference.

If I used a Samsung Galaxy SIII for a day I probably would think my current phone is slow.
