    If you go into device manager is it saying there is a driver missing for a USB device?

    OK newby here. From New Zealand.
    If I am in the wrong place please forgive me and point me in the right direction.
    My phone is not in the available phone list. Hope I have the correct forum. Anyway I have tried to connect my phone as above.
    Fails every time.
    Tried on my laptop

    Acer Aspire 5750
    Quad core
    8 GB Ram
    Windows 7
    Commodo Security
    MSSE

    Tried on Desktop
    Compaq
    Dual core 2.40 GHz
    3 GB Ram
    Running Vista

    Same result on both computers.

    Install PC Suite no problems. Drivers install sweet.
    Disabled Firewall and MSSE.
    Start setup program and connect phone.
    Phone set to connect with LG Software.
    Program reports Unable to see device.
    Changed cable.
    Same result
    Happens on both computers
    Spoke to LG Help.
    Could not be phone. Must be computer?????
    Have installed and uninstalled several times????

    Any pointers greatly appreciated.
