    Send a Text


    1. Go to the Home screen and tap Apps.
    2. Tap Messages.
    3. Then tap the plus sign (+).
    4. Tap the To field and enter the contact phone number or the contact name. In case you want to send the text message t a group of friends, tap the Contacts icon and select the desired contacts to whom you wish to send the text.
    5. Then in the Add text box, enter the desired message.
    6. To send the text, tap Send or if you want to save it for later as draft, tap the Save icon located at the top left side of the screen.

    Note: You have a limited amount of characters that you can include in a single message. You can exceed the limit, and the text will be delivered as one message, but you’ll be billed for more than one text. Also, if the recipient is an email address, if you add a text subject, compose a really long text or attach an item, the message will automatically become a multimedia message (MMS).

    Send a Multimedia Message (MMS)

    1. Go to the Home screen and tap Apps.
    2. Tap Messages.
    3. Then tap the plus sign (+).
    4. Tap the To field and enter the contact phone number or the contact name. In case you want to send the text message t a group of friends, tap the Contacts icon and select the desired contacts to whom you wish to send the text.
    5. If you want to also add a Subject line, tap Menu and select Add subject.
    6. Then in the Add text box, enter the desired message.
    7. Tap the Attach icon and select the desired attachment type.
    8. You can either select or browse the item that you wish to attach.
    9. After you added the attachment, tap the More icon of you want to see the options for viewing, replacing or removing the attachment.
    10. To send the MMS, tap Send.

    Create a Slideshow

    1. After you’ve added a picture, video or audio file in the MMS you were composing you can create a slideshow. Do to so, tap the Attach icon and select Slide.
    2. Select where you want to insert the next slide.
    3. After you’ve added a slide, you can choose to do the following:
    tap the Attach icon and select a new video or picture.
    tap the Attach icon and select Audio if you want to add music or a voice recording to your slide.
    tap Add text and enter the desired caption.
    tap the More icon if you want to see options for removing, replacing or viewing the attachment.
    4. Next, tap the Menu icon and then select Preview. Tap just once on the preview screen and you will see the playback controls.

    Note: In case you don’t see Preview written on the screen, try scrolling down the menu.

    5. Once you’ve finished editing your MMS, tap Send to send the message.

    Save a Text Message to the Tasks App

    You can save your text messages in the Tasks list if you want to remind yourself to replay to the message.

    1. Go to the All messages screen and tap the phone number of a contact or the contact itself to see the messages exchanged with that particular contact.
    2. Then tap the text that you wish to save and select Save as task.
    3. You can then enter details for that particular task or change its title.
    4. When done, tap Save.

    Back Up Your Messages

    1. Go to the Home screen and tap Apps.
    2. Then select Messages.
    3. Tap the Menu icon and select Back up SMS -> tap Back up SMS.
    4. Then enter a name for the backup file and tap OK when ready.
