    Add a Shortcut from the Apps Menu

    1. From the Home screen go to the Home page where you wish to add the new app shortcut.
    2. Then tap Apps.
    3. Locate the app that you wish to add to the Home screen and then tap and hold it.
    4. This will immediately close the App tab and create a shortcut of desired app on the Home screen.
    5. Feel free to position the app wherever you want to on the screen.

    Add a Shortcut via the Add to Home screen


    There’s an even more simple way to add shortcuts to the Home screen of your Samsung Galaxy Express. You just need to follow the next easy steps to:

    1. From the Home screen, go to the Home Page where you wish to add the new app shortcut.
    2. Then simply tap and hold on any empty spot of the Home screen and select Apps and widgets.
    3. Tap and hold the desired shortcut from the list available and then position it anywhere you want to on the screen.

    Delete a Shortcut


    1. Form the Home screen, tap and hold the shortcut you wish to delete.
    2. Then drag the shortcut to the Delete icon and once the shortcut and the Trash icon turn red, release your finger.

    Add and Remove Primary Shortcuts

    With the Samsung Galaxy Express you can remove any of the primary shortcuts you have on the smartphone, the only exception is the Apps shortcut.

    1. Go to the Home screen and tap and hold the primary shortcut you no longer want and then drag it to any empty spot on the Home screen.
    2. Now from the Home screen, tap and hold the new app that you wish to add to the primary shortcuts list and then just drag it to the empty space of the primary shortcuts.
    3. It is a simple as that!

    Add Widgets

    1. From the Home screen, go to the Home Page where you wish to add a new widget.
    2. Then tap and hold an empty sport of the screen.
    3. Go to the Widgets tab from the top of the screen and tap and hold the desired widget to add it to the Home screen.

    Remove a Widget

    1. Go to the desired Home screen and then tap and hold the widget you wish to remove.
    2. When both the widget and the Trash become red, release your finger and the widget will be deleted.

    Create an App Folder


    1. From the desired Home screen page tap Apps.
    2. In case not already selected, tap the App tab which is located at the top of the screen.
    3. Then tap the Menu icon and select Edit.
    4. Tap and hold one of the apps that you want to add to a folder.
    5. Then drag down the icon to the folder icon.
    6. A folder will then be created in the place where the app used to be and you’ll also be able to see the app icon displayed on top of the folder.
    7. If you want to add additional apps, repeat the steps from number 4 to number 6.
    8. When you’re done adding shortcuts to the folder, tap Save.

    Change Your Wallpaper

    1. Go to the Home screen and tap and hold an empty spot of the screen. You will then see the Home screen window being displayed.
    2. Tap Set wallpaper for and choose which wallpaper type you wish to change. Choose from Home screen, Lock screen or Home and lock screens.
    3. Then select one of the next options:
    Gallery -> where you can select a wallpaper form your photos taken with the camera.
    Live wallpapers -> you can select an animated wallpaper, but the Lock screen option, this option is unavailable.
    Wallpapers -> select one of the preset still-life wallpapers.
    4. After you’ve decided on a wallpaper, tap Set wallpaper, Done or Cancel, if you changed your mind.
