    At this point I would backup everything you need with a backup app, and restore the phone to factory settings. If that doesn't work then tell AT&T to give you a new one.

    Took it into ATT and they pulled the SIM card waited some time then restarted but still crashes. The Message screen come up fine then when send a message the screen goes black then "Sorry had to shut down" screen.

    It seems as if I do a message via contacts all works fine?????????

    Have you installed anything recently that does anything with the messenger app?

    The default messager app keeps crashing and when seems to be running it doesn't receive messages.
