I checked that link out and I do think I can get free ringtones for my phone that way, so thanks! I'm not sure which model my phone is, but it looks like I can still send ringtones to my phone, even without the specific model information.

If nothing else, I bet you could access a free ringtones website on your computer and then put your phone number in to have the website send ringtones to your phone.

There is lots of website available to download free ringtones. If you have smartphone then some applications are available to make your favorite songs as ringtone...

Conissa - No, I don't think I can run Zedge on my phone, because it's not actually a smart phone. It's just a basic flip phone.

Tavenger5 - I'm not sure what model it is. It only says "Verizon" and "LG" on the outside of the phone.

MaryBeth1 - Thanks for those tips! I'll try getting a friend to send me a ringtone first and then go from there.

One option might be to have someone send you ringtones. If you are sent a sound file, can you save that file and use it as a ringtone? Another option would be to hook the phone up to your computer and download ringtones through the internet or iTunes. As a last resort, if your phone has a record function, you could play a song through your stereo, record a clip of it, and apply the recording as a ringtone.

Do you have access to run Zedge on your phone? Apologies but I have never owned anything by LG phone wise (but I have many of their kitchen appliances in my house). I would think Zedge could run on most smart phones out there.
