Clear cache of play store and wait a bit. If it doesn't work check again if your device meets your own requirements and region and isn't excluded from the sorted devices list.

If all of the above didn't work make a small update to the play store page through the dev console and wait till it's released. In the meantime you can download the Google play console app to your device from which you can open a direct link to your app in the play store.

    Hope this helps you.

FWIW mine is 320x480, but maybe that's still lo-def.

That's even worse, that they used to have them and don't now.

Can old apps be adopted, like unwanted dogs at an animal shelter?

Or have they already been put to sleep?**

(There is a website for old Windows, Mac, and Linux programs called
    http://www.oldversion.com/ ) I've used it.

**It seems I'm not the first person to ask this:

One guy says contact the developer
    Another says http://www.freewarelovers.com/android/apps
(There are 1715 free applications for Android listed here. Do you
think any might work for you?)

Of course an old version might be too old or not old enough.

    http://www.freewarelovers.com/android/app/firefox
    It has
    Firefox Firefox 13.0.1 for android
    Firefox Firefox 13.0.1 for android
    Firefox 9.0
    Firefox 8.0
    Firefox 4.0.1
    Firefox 4.0
    Firefox 15.0b2 see ftp.mozilla.org
    Firefox 15.0b2
    Firefox 13.0.1 for android
    Firefox 13.0.1
    Firefox 13.0.1
    Firefox 10.0.3
    Firefox 10.0.3

I think the ones not labeled Android might not be for Android????
Even though they are in the Android url??? Or was there really FF 4,
    8, and 9 for Android?

More accurately it says "This app is incompatible with your AT&T
    Huawei Huawei-U8652."

First, although I got a lot of advice on phones here, for which I am
grateful, it was I who picked this model and no one else here, and I
have the full responsibility if I made a bad choice.

Why is that a possibility? Now that I have it, it seems very hard to
    find apps for it.

    Are some phones like that?

Is there something I can do about it?

    It's a Huawei Fusion Phone, U-8652 running Android 2.3.5

It only came out last December or so and this one was first sold
    between January and March.

Somehow, Firefox knows what kind of phone I have. I probably told it
and it doesn't forget. And almost every time I look at an app in the
Play Store, I get a message that say " This app not compatibible
with Huawei U-8652. " Today it said that for Firefox for Android.

Is there much chance that as time goes on more apps will accommodate
    the phone?

Or that I can update Android OS?

Is this why the first owner sold the phone after only 4 or 5 months?

I can live without more apps, but I want to get straight what the
    facts are.
