Any other ideas? I really want to use this headset, but it's not working.

The included Nokia headset works fine, no issues. The pins on both are the same, I already compared them. Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks anyway.

It sounds like you're getting some kind of feedback from the headset. Have you tried others?

Hello to everyone, nice to make your acquaintance. I'd like to ask you for help, since there's something that's troubling me. Recently, I purchased a NoiseHush NX80 headset from Amazon for my Nokia C1 phone (one of the reaaally basic ones), and the strangest thing happens: If I stick the pin all the way in, the music playback sounds muffled, and without bass. BUT, if I press the button on the mic, the music sounds like it should, with its full aural range. However, this works only for as long as I keep the button pressed, then it's back to "submarine concert" mode.

If it's any help, the headset works OK for calls, and if I don't stick the pin all the way in, like 7/8ths in, the music playback is perfect, but I can't answer calls. I suspect this is software-related, but maybe I'm wrong. If anyone has some experience or advice with this kind of situation, I would greatly appreciate if you shared it. Thanks in advance!
