    LOL.

    In California, the emergency call boxes are all on Verizon (except if
    there are any in the rural area served by Golden State Cellular, and I
    don't recall ever seeing any in those areas because there are no
    freeways). So Verizon had to provide coverage in areas that are
    sometimes difficult and expensive to cover.
