Agree with tavenger5. Try sending it to another phone repair shop, if they have the same reason then it might be exposed to some kind moisture at some point without you knowing it. Good Luck!

The phone just didn't work all together? It's hard to tell what the picture is showing, but perhaps the phone was exposed to some moisture at some point without you knowing it.

Also, most phones have some kind of sticker on them that turns a different color when in comes in contact with liquid.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 and it recently stopped working. When I sent it back for repair or replacement they told me that the warranty is no longer valid due to "Liquid Contamination".

I am adamant that the phone did not come into contact with water so I asked them for proof and they sent me an image but I have an untrained eye and was hoping someone could give me their thoughts.

Also if it is liquid damage what can cause it other than dropping it into a bucket of water? I am SURE that it is not my fault, and any ideas on how to go forward?

    Thanks in advance
