    Setting up IMAP Email

    1. Go to the home screen and tap Email.
    2. Or if you no longer have the Email shortcut on your home screen, tap All Apps -> Email.
    3. If the email account hasn’t been set up yet, then you’re going to see the Set up email screen automatically.
    4. Tap the Email address field and enter the desired email address.
    5. Tap the Password field and type in your password.
    6. Then tap Next.
    7. But in case you have already set up an email account, tap the Menu key -> select Account settings and choose Add account and enter the desired email address and password.
    8. Your Sprint Force will try to find the necessary email settings by itself, if they’re found, you can just follow the on-screen prompts to continue, but if the settings were not found, tap IMAP.
    9. Check to see if the Username is the email address that you entered at Step 4.
    10. The Password field should be auto-populated already from the previous step, but tap Show password just to make sure it was introduced correctly.
    11. Then tap the IMAP server field and enter imap.mail.your-email-type.com. For example, imap.mail.yahoo.com.
    12. Tap the Security type filed and select SSL/TLS.
    13. Tap the Port field and enter 993.
    14. Check to see if the settings are correct and then tap Next.
    15. In the SMTP field, enter smtp.mail.your-email-type.com. For example: smtp.mail.yahoo.com.
    16. Then tap Security type and select SSL/TLS.
    17. In the Port field enter 465.
    18. In case the server requires authentication, check Require sign-in.
    19. The Username and Password should already be populated from the previous steps, so just tap Next.
    20. Make the desired account settings and then tap Next.
    21. Tap account name and enter a name.
    22. Tap the Your name field and enter the name as you’d like it to appear on the outgoing messages and tap Next.
    23. Congratulations, your IMAP account has been set up.
